Thanks Philip. The Father’s Day theme and your comments reminded me of a set of tapes that have called “Men and the Life of Desire” with Robert Bly, James Hillman, and Michael Meade. If you’ve never heard it (but like Robert Bly, and still have a cassette player somewhere)….I’m happy to lend them to you (four cassettes total). I think you’d really enjoy them.

Thank you! Robert Bly was a big influence on me in my teens. His work and Joseph Campbell both opened up the idea of hero’s journey for me. Would love to borrow the tapes… (and, probably like Robert Bly, I do still have a tape deck).
